I only just realised today that I can take pretty decent (for what it is) macro shots on my phone, so my several month long dream of being able to start a project log is over!

First up is the birthday present I finished for my friend yesterday, first time i've ever done a display base or anything so I think it came out ok. And I know you can see the lines where the parts meet, I completely forgot about them and now I regret it completely.

I'm painting my mates Tau for him, i'm doing his stealth troops at the moment. Because he wants the rest of his Tau to be really bright I thought I would literally just made them black to stand out as special troops but they look a bit boring, any ideas?

The highlights don't look anywhere near that harsh on the model normally, camera and light just seems to have brought it out!

The stealths look fantastic, 8/10. Keep 'em black- it fits really well for stealth troopers.
