my friend has a list that looks something like this and is not 100% sure if he should go out and by it.

and hepl would be good thanks :)

this army list is 66 points over 2,000 but i think he wants to build it to 2,250pts

in terms of effectiveness chaos konrniate daemon armies can be one of the most brutal forces ever. (i think you cant have deamonettes)
i would suggest play testing it with proxies for a while as i feel this army is some one soft, and hard to play.

when you have the dark master guy you can have any daemon unit in that army...... i think from memory

dark master = undivided, so any unit goes.

But acually, instead of the Dark Master i would play a Bloodthrister for several reasons.

1.You havent got this nasty side taste of using special charakters

2.In a Daemon Army he is almost undestroyable, the dark master ist just missing the T6, because against s4, which the most shooting you will met, T6 ist just double as good as T5.

3.He hits a lot harder, and is a large Target which is a great tick at the positive side.

Also i would advice zou to play less Bloodletters and more Bloodcrushers, because thez hit harder, are faster, and having a nice T of 5 , which makes them a lot harder for their points.

Drop the daemonettes for Flesh hounds, you're almost all Khorne, why not go the full distance?

If your going for more punch, take more demon Cav. They are insanely tough. The core troops at 2250 tend to get flanked and shot up before they cross the table.

ALSO keep in mind that you will lose combat because of static combat rez, so a BSB is almost a must. Personally i dont like the Bel'akor, i think the greater demons are little better.

drop belakoir and take a khorne daemon prince alot cheaper and 6 str 6 attacks no save makes him a beastly CHoice. As for the rest of the army small units of Blood letters with lil 5 man hound units nearby should make up the bulk of your army (5 man hounds, 12-14 man letter units) Maybe throw in some blood crushers or a chariot of khorne for fun ( the chariot gets more attacks then the crushers, but is more fragile, (8 from crew and steeds, d6+ 1 for charging so up to 15 attacks!)
