I've started this log for anything I've got on the go that isn't part of my eldar project log. This'll be the odd model I paint for pleasure (Shock horror! Yes for pleasure!!) and some nid stuff too.

So without further ado:
I've just finished pinning this sucker today, now I just have to glue the pins and paint the legs, torso and head separately from each other (Which won't be happening for a while. Every time I see a new scheme for nids I abandon the old one I had in mind).

The current scheme I've got planned is black. Dark skin, black carapace with red markings. Nice and quick. :D

I'm also painting a Wood Elf Lord atm. It's been taking time away from my eldar army. I'm trying to reproduce the look of this picture:

So a fair way to go on him. :D

Now being a smart little muffin I've been painting from memory of what the mini looks like on the GW page. I now see I've been placing colour in the wrong places. Back to the drawing (painting) board. :mad:

This guy is also my first attempt at blending.

looking good so far, nice GS there good work, the elf also is looking nice, i would give the cape a quick glaze of green to blend the colours more other than that looking good, keep up the good work!!!
