Are you sure you don't want the Painting and Terrain forum?

Doesn't the Empire army book have a whole bunch of different color schemes for Empire uniforms?

You would probably get more responses at an Empire specific forum. ;)

Apart from the fact that you should use punctuation; why do you want people to post their empire armies? Just go the usual route: Empire-specific sites/forums/galleries, coolminiornot, google picture search, GW site, etc.

It takes about 15 minutes of research and that's it.

Actually, more like 0.22 seconds according to Google, which will give you one of your best shots for Empire stuff (articles, tactics, plus lots of pics):

No offence, but you guys are being really harsh. There is a thread in the 40k General Discussion where people are posting pictures of their Imperial Guard. I don't see anything wrong with people posting pictures of their army (or even descriptions) to help a new player get inspiration!

Shame on you guys.

It's redundant and unnecessary, and as pointed out there is a painting section of this very forum where you can find plenty Empire pics, as well as elswhere on the net. That's what I did when I was looking for Empire pics.

Or should we all just throw out a request in the General Discussion forum anytime any of us want to see some particular pics?

Fair enough, but it's not as if the Fantasy General Discussion Board is overflowing at the moment....

go to games workshop site, they have a whole section devoted to standard uniform color schemes for the various provinces cities, orders etc. use that as a start and then engage your imagination. Sometimes just painting them the way you want is more satisfying than painting them the way some one else says it should be. Have fun!!!!!!!! steveb

Don't worry freelancer, inspiration can be hard to find, you just have to look real hard sometimes.

I myself don't have an empire army to exhibit, but I'm sure others do.

The best way to check out miniatures is to see them in real life. If you have a local club/GW store, check to see if anyone there plays empire.

Failing that, buy a box and see what you think, paint 'em up real pretty too.

Good Luck!

i dont have photographs of my starting empire army nor do i have a decent camera at the moment however http://coolminiornot.com/browse is a good way to find pictures of models at the top type in the search button 'Empire' (or whatever state your looking for) then maybe put order by rating(descending) to get the best pics

i used to belong to an empire forum but i cant remember the name...

empire-____________ it was

I have added in some of the models I've added and rebased in order to show how they will look when I'm done. As a side note you will have to more than double those shown to get close to how many more models I have waiting to be painted.

No problem:).

I just painted the whole model the light colour (yellow) first then painted the other half the darker colour (purple), ALWAYS paint the lighter colour first.
