A long time lurker on the project forums i have finally got round to starting my own. I need to do this because, in theory, it will help me to keep going as well as helping me improve my work with comments.

Presently i have plans for 3 armies which are in various stages of completion.

Red= Need to buy, make and paint
Orange= Need to make and paint
Blue= Need to Paint/Repaint
Green= Done

Eldar- 2000pts

Farseer w/ 3 Warlocks

10 Fire Dragons

20 Guardians w/ Starcannon platforms and warlocks.
10 Pathfinders
10 Dire Avengers w/ Waveserpent

Wraithlord w/EML and BL
2 Falcons

Orks-1.5K pts

30 Stormboyz w/2 PK Nobz

10 Burna Boyz w/4 Burnaz

24 Trukk Boyz w/2 Trukks, 2 PK Nobz and 2 Rokkits

They are what i curently am planning to do, also i will probably add a fighta bomba and a stompa to the ork list to make it aporkalypse worthy.

Without further ado though, because no log is complete without pictures i have for you a few shots of my vyper and avatar.

hey, looks like you have a decent task ahead of you and i wish you all the best.

I guess i can offer some pointers if you dont mind? The avatar is pretty good, only thing i would watch is the thickness of your paint, one top tip that i cant stress enough for anyone GD champions to new blood, use a palette to paint from! Just grab a cd case or cd (what i use, but tiles are probably the best ive ever used) and use a brush to put the paint on the cd and water it down and mix it there and then use it from there. Means that you have better control over the paint your using and means you dont waste as much paint as taking it from the pot. so give that a try if you dont already.

The other tip for the avatar is maybe using a few inks on the red and the metal parts, black on the metal and either chestnut or red on the red parts for some very quick and easy shading that will make the mini pop.

As for the vyper, very nice i guess its an Ulthwe craftworld army? th purple and bone are very nice and smooth cant wait to see it finished.
hope that helps mate, i will watch this one.

Thanks for the advice there so far. I must mention though that on the avatar no red paint was used, all of the red is actually red ink.

Another picture for you all. My WiP Battlewagon for my orks. My first real building project, the main vehicle is done, unless changes are suggested ill move on to adding gubbinz and try GSing, and then eventually paint it. The dimensions of the wagon are: 8" long, 7" wide and 4.5" high.

Work has been progressing slowly however it is now half term and I will "hopefully" get some stuff done.

For those interested my BW now has a log on the waaagh.com which i will keep updated more regularly, but for general progress this log will stay open.

Pics have been coming slowly and for that i apologise but to make up for it here are all my PiP pics.

My Ork Warboss- Virtually done just need to touch up a few bitz.

One of my trukks-need to paint the orks better and drybrush the back.

3 Pics of my warbuggie- obviously a speeder conversion, the orks need painting, as do the glyphes, the wheelz and the interior.

Also two of my Burna Boyz, once again they need the skin doing and just a general finish.

And the last pictures for now, the PiP of the Battlewagon. This thing is taking ages to paint, so far ive done the tin bitz coat and I'm on to the boltgun metal stage. Also i have done the wood bitz at the side and am pleased as to how they came out this being my first try at painting wood.

A while since i last posted any progress I have got somewhere.

The Battlewagon is painted up to the wheels leaving the spoiler and the rear to be painted. Pictures of this can be seen below. Also I have finished construction, and basecoated my second rokkit buggy which i will take pics of soon.
