Blake seems to be the story of the Open so far. I'm a bit annoyed by the fanclub, but I really really really hope to see a match between him and Hewitt.

I'm still rooting for Lindsay Davenport. I swear to god my cat has to see her win at least one grand slam before she retires (she's named after her).

Davenport won't make it, if Clijsters or Henin are at the top of their game she doesn't have chance.

damn you! It's true though. I think Henin-Hardennes will distroy her. I love Lindsay's style, but man, all it takes is one disappointing volley and she gives up the entire game. WTF.

Update: Henin has just been kicked out of the tourney by Mary Pierce, so chances are Davenport will get a decent chance of reaching the finals.

And you're right on that attitude problem Davenport has: if you make her run three times from left to right she gives up too. She's got a build that's good for power-tennis, not for running-tennis.

Henin crashed out?! Holy crap! by Mary Pierce?! OMG! That's just crazy...

One thing that Lindsay does amazingly well: she can place balls at the very corners of the court. And her swings are sublime.

Yup, you gotta give her that, but running is not her game: far from it!

Very surprising the crash of Henin: especially since she trashed Pierce in Paris 6-2 6-1 :(

I don't know about Lindsay Davenport, but I'm rooting Federer again. He kicks everyone's ****. He doesn't have a coach and he is still the best!

Federer is a machine. It almost seems like he came out of nowhere and just started dominating.

Two things that are annoying:

1. Sharapova's screams is getting on my nerves.

2. That lame Andy's mojo American Express commercial. Somone shoot that guy.

Clijsters pwns all!

Venus Williams is out of the US open.

Clijsters was really good and Venus didn't play her best tennis. I think Clijsters can beat Davenport.

On a side note, Clijster really looks good on court and she does those splits...

Yeah, she has some nice special moves :)

I'm still not sure if she can win this year. The odds are in her favour, but it's been like that before and somehow she always manages to lose in the end :(
I really hope she wins. It's nice to have a local celebrity. She lives only 15 km from my home.

YE GODS!!! Why the hell can't Davenport just win one more Grand Slam!!!

I care not for the rest of the series... well, I hope Clijsters wins now.

ok, wait a minute, what the hell is this?

right now:
Agassi vs. Blake
3-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3

wow... wow... wow...

Agassi vs. Blake
3-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-6, 6-7

That was an amazing game and to think I almost turned it off. It looked like it was over for Agassi after the 2nd set, but damn...

They both have great qualities, but in the end, I wanted Agassi to win because of his age (I am very close to his age).

She did!
And about time too, I might add.
