Greetings,

I'm sure many of you were aware of the 40K RPG that was being developed by Black Industries. I was looking at their site and ran across this:

This maybe old news, but if you are interested in the 40K RPG you may want to check it out.

If this is a duplicate, just delete this thread and send it to a better place.

Thanks

Good to know. I had a feeling I should have used the search option.

Has anyone tried the demo game? What were your thoughts? What are the advantages to this over Inquisitor rules for RPGs? How does it compare to other games in the marketplace?

There, that should make the topic abit fresher.

It's simpler than Inquistor, and uses nothing but D10s (and percentiles).

I much prefer the mechanics in this and WFRP to D&D, mainly because I find D&D to be much too competitive - almost like being a paper computer game.

All in all, I reckon the Warhammer percentile system is really good.

It looks like the system is pretty solid - its an evolution of the WFRP2 system. I don't think the demo booklet shows it in a particularly good light though, as its a pretty poorly written adventure.

That said, from what some of the pople who demoed it at Gencon said, the introductory adventure that's going in the main rulebook is supposedly much better.
