Your unit is charged and you elect to stand and shoot. The enemy unit fails its charge, do they still pay the price for the miscalculation by taking the shots from the targeted unit? Do you still flee from a failed charge if you elected to flee as a charge reaction?

BTW - I tried to Search before posting but the Search function reported an error.

Yes and yes.

Charge reactions do not change after they are declared except where psychology (fear/terror) change them.

I also seem to remember that the Charging unit can be forced to panic if they suffer enough casualties from the Stand and Shoot reaction.

you indeed remembered that correctly. Makes handgunner detachments quite nasty at times..

I've elected to flee and the charger was short on movement. I had to flee anyhow. I've also caused a charger to take a panic test and fail.:D Sadly, the attacker's panic removed the unit's flank from charge range.
