I have a friend that is wanting to use the Seer Council Datasheet that was up for a little on GW's website. I remember everything on it except for the last strategic asset.

The ones I remember are Careful Planning and Ambush, so if anyone remembers what the third one was then it would be greatly appreciated.

*edit* - I may have answered my own question, but I am leaning towards Strategic Redeployment, so if anyone can back me up on that please chime in.

Yep. Those those are the 3.
3+ Farseers
5+ Warlocks

Warlocks have Argument. Same as powers from old craftworld codex ulthwe warlock additional power.

3 Farseers is quite cheese IMO. Imagine triple Mindwar. :D

augment not argument

the last thing the eldar need is warlocks who argue

Nah. They cause arguements...your opponent bitching about it being one of the main ones...

What is that? Is it valid with the latest rules? Can we have a peek? :) I have a friend who plays Eldar and might be interested.

What? Was this sheet at GW's website but has now been removed, if so, why?

It's been removed because these datasheets should have been released in November, so someone goofed and put em up on the site and later removed em. Because heavens forbid GW would let em stay on there and just make new ones.(Or we can just create our own datasheets as GW intends for apocalypse) :D

I may possibly .sig this.

You mean... the possibility of killing up to three models per turn???? For only a cost of roughly 350 points?? Oh, the humanity!!!! :)

I was thinking of them wiping out a hive tyrant hehe

Points-wise, it seems like a fair takedown... especially when you consider there's no guarantee it'll work or that PoW won't cork one of the Seers in the process.

true. but they'd still be a bargain if they pulled it off (compared to the nid player who took that ******* hive tyrant anyway) In which case if the nid player was one that didn't let str D cause d3 wounds on a garg critter he has it coming!

 S:eek: only causes a single Wound against Gargantuan Creatures. Why would it be anything to do with the Nid player?

May I remind eveyone, ask for, or offering to circulate copyrighted material without the permission of the owner is illegal and a breach or WarSeer's Rules.

I was waiting for that to pop up which is why I didnt say anything.

Some of us managed to download and save the Datasheets for the short while they were up on GW's website. As for the rest of you, you should either get a buddy to print them off for you or just do without until they pop up again. November starts tomarrow and if you cant stand waiting a day for some PDF thingies then you dont have the patience to play 40k in the first place.

Yep, that was pretty much my expression when I first heard about how S:eek: weapons worked. ;)

Seer Councils are nifty, but can be defeated. Don't worry too much about them. Enough Destroyer weapons will see them off smartly enough.

well 3 is nothing really in Apoc.... people can use 40 farseers if they want.. coupled with 100 Harlequins!!

and whats with this 'Cheese' - the correct word is 'Beardy'.. im assuming 'cheese' is some american import?

Yep. I do all the time. Just substitute "Ulthwe" for "Iyanden", for example, and you'll be fine.
