I've been having fun with my DoW(thanks for all the help) and last night I got the new armybook and just reading threw it made me want to redo my Sea Guard. I'm having a little trouble making a 1000pt list though.

Heroes- 330

Noble- 155
~Great Eagle
~Heavy Armor
~Longbow
~Shield
~Lance

Mage- 175
~Jewel of the Dusk
~Dispel Scroll
~Level 2
**Goes in LSG
.................................................. ............................
Core- 246

Lothern Sea Guard(17)- 246
~Full Command
~Shields
**9x2 shooting then 6x3 fighting
.................................................. ............................
Special- 96

Shadow Warriors(6)- 96
.................................................. ............................
Rare- 150

Great Eagle- 50
Reapeater Bolt Thrower- 100
.................................................. ............................
Total- 822

I don't know what exactly I want to do with the remaining 178pts except that I'm not going to take cavalry or chariots. Any advice?

Just out of curiosity, why don't one of the Sea Guard have a magic banner? And do they really need Champions unless they're defending a Mage?

Theres only one LSG(the 9x2 was for shooting and 6x3 was combat) and I didn't give them a banner because I thought more numbers would be better. I could swap the Shadow-walkers for one though, which would be best?

They are guarding my mage so I added the champ.

That's fair enough, but Skimisher champions generally aren't worth it... Not for the targets they go for...
Personally, I would reduce their numbers a little, split them into two, and drop the Great Eagle for the points for that... Any spare points can grab you an Enchanted Shield etc...

But that's just me...

If you want a seaguard army, why not take the seaguard list with the special charachter that gives you a free round of shooting pre-game

because he is an ordineary lord choise.

nice list, but im not sure one lvl2 is enough magic offensive to pay his points.

is it worth giving your noble a longbow so if he cant charge anything he can still shoot things? at BS 6 your not going to miss much, although it is only 1 str 3 shot, it could still do something
