So i've been collecting Chaos for about 3 years now with breaks, after the new Codex came out i decided to fix my army and finally get it painted, my painting isn't extreme but not horrible.

This is what i'm gonna paint:
66 (i think) normal Marines.
3 Vindicators
Land Raider
Rhino
Lord
Terminator Lord
5 Terminators
3 Bikes
5 Raptors
Could be more, don't remember atm.

I've started painting and got about 15 Marines done, Land Raider, 1 Vindicator and the Rhino done.

I haven't done the eyes on any model as i'm gonna do that last (don't know why).

I'm gonna post more pictures tonight or tomorrow.

No offence, but I always thought that the scheme of the Sons of Malice was black/white with silver trim.
Your painting scheme is very nice as well though. Keep it up.

This is a small experiment i did a few days ago and i'm thinking about doing capes and the other thing there on all the un-sprayed models.

Yeeeeeess. Reasonably decent painting. Good coherence. Like the greenstuffing on the termies (not sure about the cloaks, but you've made a good fist of it). Bike convos are nice.

But, as Wulf says, the Sons of Malice are black and white.

Well maybe this batch of Sons of Malice haven't heard of the other batch. Easily possible.

I'm not sure how much I like those Termi cloaks, but we'll see how they look painted.

The trophy racks on the bikes are nice.

You know what the wierd thing is, i never heard of Sons of Malice until i was looking at the picture of The Eye of Terror in the old Chaos Codex and that was after i came up with the name.

Ok, so yesterday i decided to paint the Terminator Lord and i have to say it's the best model i've painted so far, i was/am extremely happy with it.

The base isn't done but i finished it yesterday so i'll post it tomorrow with some more pictures.

Gday mate. I'm about to give you some constructive criticism and a little advice (even though I'm not the best painter) ;)

Overall it's not a bad start. You might want to give your models a very watered down chestnut ink wash on the red armour. A watered down black ink wash on the gun wouldn't be a bad idea either. This'll help give everything a bit of definition.

It looks like you've highlighted the terminator lord's cloak with white. This is not a great idea on brown cloth - you'd be better off with a very light brown. If you can't be bothered redoing it, a brown ink wash might help too. Mix in about a pinheads worth of dishwashing liquid to help the flow of the ink.

If you'd like to really go all out you might consider glaze medium. Check this out: http://www.brushthralls.com/glaze-medium.html

The second page of this tutorial is what you might consider. Glaze medium is available in big bottles at art supply stores at a much cheaper price than getting a tiny bottle from a model supplier. This is a long winded process though.

If you're worried about inks leaving too much shine grab some testors dullcoat varnish spray. I just bought some and it's expensive, but awesome. Gives a completely matt finish so you might have to put a bit of gloss varnish on your metals afterwards.

I like your greenstuff work.

Keep it up.
