Browsing youtube just now, I decided to look upon some videos from my Childhood.....

And so I bring you linkage of music somewhat aged, yet still brilliant. And I invite you to do the same.....

So, sit back, turn the speakers up (all the way to 11 if you must) and witness the antithesis of the commercial pap that passes for Dance in the modern age....THE KLF!

And their superlative work, which proved their book 'How to have a number 1 single' was in fact, well, fact....

You've got the right title, just the wrong acronym. :) It's a song by PWEI (Pop Will Eat Itself) off their Looks or the Lifestyle album. One of my favorite bands, shame they're not still around (atleast not in the same form as they once were).

Hey, lay off the Dok, whiteshields. After all, he don't want to upset the applecart, and he don't want to cause any harm...

This is one of the greatest accomplishments of Mankind. We might as well shut everything down. We're simply never going to be able to top this song. :D

Let's be honest: Doctorin' The Tardis was rubbish, although I'm sure the KLF guys would argue that was the point. I did like when I was a kid though.

The KLF proper, on the other hand, were actually good :) When I was djing I used to play a breakbeat version of What Time Is Love?

For those worrying about Doctorin' The Tardis.....

Read here, to see the sort of mad, uniquely British genius behind the band...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_KLF

It is also worth mentioning that a story in the British media about waste of flesh Pete Doherty, claimed that far from being a genuine rock junkie, he was in fact a former Buddy Holly impersonator at Butlins (British concentration camp/ holiday destination) that Drummond decided to use as an experiment.....

The KLF said it was true, Doherty's cohorts denied it....Doherty remains to this day, suspiciously quiet....

As I am disturbingly curious, I'll ask me sis -She works for the Record company he decidedly dumped a while back, so I doubt they're about to defend him now.
