I have strong doubts about the bases being $4 each.

Being GW, this is not likely an isolated event. So what other crazy things have you come across in the online store?

Its cheaper to buy a bloodclaw pack and some jump-packs than it is to buy two assault squads.

also the Ravenwing bike squad is $10 cheaper than the normal marine bike squad box.

Must be the separate factories that ream GW with price requirements and liscensed production minimum.

Yes, it's also cheaper to buy the Tanith Ghost figures through the website than to try and outbid me on eBay. This hard lesson was learned by some poor shmuck a month ago. Also I bought a boxed set of Ruglud's Armored Orcs through a gaming website for $36 with shipping instead of piecemeal throught the GeeDub website for $12 for a pair of armored orcs.

I had found a bunch more goof ups but I can't for the life of me remember them.

well, if you buy the items separate, you dont get the 60 mm base

I've been meaning to do that, could you post the item number for me because I keep forgetting to look it up?

You DO realise that the normal marine boxed set contains metal parts and the RW doesn't, and this could explain the price difference?

Grey Knight Termies are cheaper if you buy them by bitz instead of as a box.

You mean the box is worthless...?

GKTS are $11.00 apiece as bitz, so if you buy the box you get the Shields, Sergeant body, and bases for free...

Wth... <;-;> I swear last time I looked it came out to be about a dollar cheaper apiece...

Well darn...

Is this in Canada? In the US store the Wraithguard is still $15, and $16.50 for Head and body with no base.

granted they have metal parts in them but they're baaaad metal parts that only goof-balls with little to no conversion ability would use

Last I checked, Tau Fire Warriors were $2US cheaper to buy via sprue than the box. GW seems to price the 2 gun drones at $1 each, but I really don't need any more.

My Deathwatch Captain, who uses the absolutely marvellous MkVIII-torso of a Ravenwing biker means to disagree ;)

The Firewarrior box is currently $32 as bitz including everything.

2 Firewarrior sprues = $22.50
2 Gun Drone sprues = $5
10 Round bases = $2.50
2 Flying Base stems = $1
2 Flying bases = 1

I know what you mean about the drones. I bought a pack of 30 Drone sprues with flying bases on ebay, and got 18 more with the Rapid Insertion force. I picked up the metal bitz for 8 shield drones, but that still leaves me with 40 Gun Drones. I don't need any more. Now Marker drones on the other hand...
