Carnifex conversion

Hi all, i recently came into possesion of two 2nd edition carnifexes on eBay, and decided to convert one into a dakkafex. I placed gaunt devourers on its shoulders and replaced the lower talons with carnifex devourer arms.
But i couldnt resist adding the new carnifex sything talons to the upper arm sockets. To make sure nobody thought that these counted as talons, i added more devourer bits, sanded down, to the edges of the talons. Do you think that anyone will complain about this in the tournament scene where it is generally WYSIWYG?? I really wat to use it as it is a really cool model though. Help please!

I dont think many people would have a problem with that.

Just make sure you inform them before the game begins.

It should not be a problem as long as you clear it up before hand. You've at least attempted to make the talons look like devourers, which is usually enough.

Ok finally I posted my first picture. This is a carnifex I did awhile ago. I inverted the body and modeled the lower talons upward. Makes the fex look more fearsome. Size compared to a fire warrior. :eek:

A comrade has three screamer killers converted to modern nid weaponry for dakkafexes. So choice.

I'm using dragon ogres myself with shaggoths for venom fexxes.
