ok so, just a reminder. These are the first men I have ever painted, but i have played tons of games with them... so c&c is welcome. it's about 1,000 pts. all together. It contains 10 CSM, 1 Termy lord, 7 Thousand sons + sorcerer, 11 Khorne bezerkers. Soon to come are more khorne bezerkers, more CSM, terminators, maybe a vindicator and a rhino... Mind you, none of them are 100% done

Looking good!

I like the colourscheme, classic and pulls the army nicely together on the tabletop.
The red on the termie lords cape is nice and deep.
I have a few suggestions:

I think that a (very) light drybrush of Skull White or another light colour would bring out the greenish fur on top of the cape, and a light wash of black would give the metals some contrast, they are a bit shiny. If the models are too dark afterward, a quick drybrush of the metal underneath would lighten it up a bit.
Likewise, the horns might benefit from some shading, and a brown wash and then some drybrushing of the original colour looks like the easiest and quickest way. (You might want to test the advice on another model first, as some of the paints and washes may have to be thinned before they look good - it would be a crying shame to ruin your great job on the lord.)

And one last bit: It think the bases would look a bit more unified with a brown edging, considering that you are using sand on them. If you intend to paint the sand another colour or flock them later, disregard this. :)

Again, the models are looking great, especially for your first army.
Looking forward to seeing more!

The cloak on your lord looks pretty good especially as you've only just started painting.
