I was thinking of a similar army to this last week, it looks very good. Fast and hard hiting with magic protection and march blocking, but you may lose out on CR.

Maybe use the warhounds as flankers rather than screens to negate the ranks. Instead of gaining CR why not erase theirs?

It looks interesting, but I'd be tempted to change the Exalted Daemon to a BSB, and the Shaggoth to a unit of chosen knights.

I think that army would be fun. I just really really hate the minotaur models.

Looks good. But the demon may be a little vulnerable. You'll have to use him wisely. Why not use this as a khorne army. Since you will be playing smash mouth here anyways, why not get the benefit of frenzy and use the dogs to screen your way to victory.

Pros:
Comparatively beefy magic for so few levels, though it's slanted towards defense. As brave an army as you can get for BoC, yet not bound by ItP. Serious hitting power.

Cons:
The core section feels a bit repetitive. Magic won't do much for you, even if you succeed with most of your spells. No armour, so arrows and bolts will quickly take their toll.

Total:
I would try this army, if I could borrow enough Minotaurs.

The Mark of Nurgle is always fun on minotaurs :)
