Just curious because yesturday my local store cleared away the tables, put the terrain on the floor, and played Floorhammer at 100,000 pts. Thats the first time I've heard of games that size so I was wondering if anybody else has seen a game that size.

100,000 pts

I have never heard of a game that big. How long did it take?

I've played in a 90,000 point game and that took about half a week.

(End of a campaign we had been doing, one of the guys armies was a Titan Legion)

I had a game down my local store for my 18th (9 years ago now!) where Cade and I, with a couple of helpers, deployed out entire Dark Angels 5th Company with Deathwing, Ravenwing and 10th Company support against all comers.

I think it was 30,000 points, which was totally sweet in those days! Took all day to see it through. Sooooo much destruction, which was fun.

I played in an Apocalypse game yesterday with roughly 45.000 pts on the table, not even counting the 8 super-heavies.

I did 65,000 points on a side a few weeks ago here in my store.

Game went for a solid 12 hours before we called it. Four turns, though, not bad.

We had 10 players with 6k each, on 3 tables connected with a bridge,
2 pushed together to make a 12x4, and warpgates on every 6x4..
plus another table for an underground. That's the biggest I've played in,
but I was told there have been bigger there.

My largest was around 80k points. Each player brought 10k and their own food and drinks. Took around 3 days due to a gaurd and tyranid player.

Imperium won!

4 years ago we had all our main players reserved the store's tables for a whoopping 4 days. This was during easter vacation where we all asked for days off from work and all who could come, came to play. I brought a list of 30000 in chaos and 15000 in orks at the time. Another guy had 10k in tyranids mostly nidzilla, and everyone brought their titans in so the store owner (who was kind enough to leave the store open 24/7) got to use them as his own titan legion. I think it was about 17 titans. I dont remember the scale of the game but we had 13 foot by 4 foot deployment zones with no terrain in them, and there was hardly enough space to put down tanks near the end and had to do reserves for them.

Girls have sleepovers, guys have hammer nights. We all drank and had a blast for those 4 days, I think nobody won in the end, we were like "F this, we're done" near the end of day 2. We went to movies and stuff to try to change the scenery but even we realized we went too far with it and called it quits by the end of day 3 and just went a free for all on day 4.

Biggest I've played in was 80,000 points total (40,000 points per side). Last December. It took 2 days and STILL ended in a draw. I don't think I'd want to imagine a 100,000 point game. 1000+ marines were enough for me!

At my gaming club we had a game which was played across 3 10ft x 6ft tables which were connected by bridges, and gaps inbetween them could be gone over by amphibous vehicles, skimmers, jump pack troops etc. The game was Darks Angels + Daemhunters vs everyone else (Chaos, Tau, Marines, IG) I think it was 20k per side.
The Forces Of Everyone Else won 9-3

Unfortunately I was babysitting my nephew so I didn't get to join but it was Good vs. Evil(good defending), 11 good/14 evil with 4000pts each, 2 hours to set up the day before, and I believe 7 hours of game play.

Heres a some pics a guy took.

90K plus (they lost count at around 85K, just before 2000 points of Tyranids and 3/4s of a Marine battle company hit the table) on apocalypse Launch day at my local GW. :)

About 3-4 weeks ago I was in an Apoc game with 20k on good side and 18k on evil side. Took forever. My poor little 2000 point gaurd army was so outnumbered but gave the nids player hell on the left side of the board. The game went from 12 noon to 2 in the morning.

I played a 52'000 pt. game a few weeks ago. Eight players, chaos chaos Orks orks vs. a lot of beakies, some eldar, a few units of imperial guard, some necrons, and something like a hundred terminators. : P

I think there are actually pics of it on warseer somewhere. which reminds me that I abducted someones CSM by accident and need to return him to the store.
