So Say I have the starwood Staff on one of my mages(+1 to all casting rolls) is this modifier applied to all rolls during the magic phase, or just those by the person who has it.

The reason I ask is that certain items say that their abilities may only be used by the bearer, and this is not one of them.

The +1 casting items are for the lucky git who owns 'em. The rest of the fools don't get it.

I don't understand how you can misinterpret, "Gives +1 to all casting attempts made by the wizard carrying it." I suppose, in an abstract sense, that the rest of the army "carries" the mage in respect to fisticuffs and head-bonking. :D

I didnt see this written. I didn't get my army book in yet and Army Buolder just says adds +1 to all casting rolls. I was just trying to make a list befor my army got here.

AB saves time (once you are use to it). AB is much neater, contains lots of info on the roster sheets. Army Builder does tell you in print that you do need the rules and suppliments.

AB is not perfect. it's not evil.........people can (and do) use it in "evil ways". I don't believe in not having a rulebook and suppliments or whatever.

By the by several/many of the systems that are on AB provide "free rules" on-line.

Heh, i did clarify the wording though. About 4 people have managed these files and the first 3 never thought of standardising the wordings, so it's a bit messy sometimes. :p
