I have a couple of GW plastic dreadnoughts and have been considering upgrading them to have two power fists. Does anyone know if the Mk IV arms from forgeworld are a plausible fit or am I better off with the metal furioso arms? I'd prefer the forgeworld arms as they have the stormbolter instead of the melta gun. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I have the forge world ven.dread with a mortis lass and furusio ccw .
To me they are lovely arms and they fit fine, they also look different to which is nice.
And yes they would fit fine on the plastics

If this is just for modeling/painting purposes.. yes, the FW Mk IV arms will fit just fine, baring ny warping durring shipping. The dreads are all the same base size, and all arms are interchangable.

If for gaming, if you're not playing blood angels, or chaos, it isn't a matter you need to worry about. Furioso being a BA only dreadnought, and chaos being the only other able to pick up two DCCW (IIRC). And the Motis mentioned above is a DA only dread.

Cheers, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I was worried the plug size wouldn't be the same to I'd have to fit them permanently.
