Good evening,

I'm currently undertaking a labor of love making a Bretonnian army list (something of which I've wanted to do now for close to 7 years and just finally got stable enough to have both the time and rescources to do so.)

I've been converting practically every model in the army, including making my own water transfers and shield emblems, one of the things I wanted to incorperate into some of the models was a hunting dog (no in game effect, just purely for image). I plan on this dog being a Siberian Huskey so a wolf, or wolf-like, model will work. My problem is I wanted this dog to be on the base of the model, either in-between the horses legs, or alongside of the model, but not too far off the side. Thus the wolves, and chaos hounds are out as they are roughly the size of the horse itself (not something that would suit the theme very well, and would be cumbersome in game). My green-stuffin and modelling abilities are not quite good enough to make a whole dog on my own at least one to the quality that I'd like.

So my question is, is there a or do you know of a model that would fit what I'm looking for in a model? Or do you think you can make one (I'd be willing to pay, but I'm very particular about how I want the dog to look ((Siberian Huskey, nothing else wolves work well too)))

Much thanks to any help you can provide!

~Cheers

With the Peasant Bowmen Sprue you get a dog or two. These would easily fit in with your idea. Don't have one to hand but if I find my Peasant Bowmen stakes I'll take a picture because I know I've a dog on one of them...even a snail lol

Maybe check the peasant sprue pics on the GW websites to get an idea of what it looks like.

Hope this has been some help.

Thanks!
The dog that comes with the bowman may be a little bit small for my likes, but thanks for the heads up!

What mordheim dog, or which warband does the dog belong to? I'm roaming the UK version of the online store looking for the model but I'm having a hard time digging it up, any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Maybe you could use the dogs that come with the Farmer Maggot LotR model, they may be a little small though.

Actually, if you look in the archived 40k range, you might be able to get Freki or Geri. They're wolves and would fit your purposes nearly perfectly. They also look like huskies, so no extra work would be needed. You can find them in the 2005-2006 specialist games and classic range catalogue on page 183. Good luck.

Many many thanks, the reaper mini's look awesome, I'm trying to decide on the GW ones, (not a big fan of the teeth barring all the time) but I'll give them all another looking over tommorrow, and give it another thought.

~Much thanks
