couldn't find it on here, but is the "wreckage" in the Battle For Maccragge set actually a wrecked Aquila Fighter?

I didn't see it in the book either.

Yes it's an aquila. It's not a fighter though, more a shuttlecraft.

To your question: yes, it is.

To the topic title: "BFG" is the common abbreviation for "Battle Fleet Gothic", another GW game. The title was a bit confusing, as I didn't expect a question regarding FW and BfM.

Right, and a nice and inexpensive terrain at that.
The Aquila transports VIPs like the governor in the starter set.
BTW: BFG means Battlefleet Gothic, not Battle for Macragge!

In fact I'm confused on what the acronym BfG stands for it this context.

Oh and for interests sake ther's an interesting article on turning the BfM aquila into an actual tabletop model in the latest issue of firebase.

oops, my mistake, typed in BFG when I meant BFM. I don't think I can change it now though? Anyways, thanks for the repsonses. It has been my practice vehicle for painting my first Leman Russ.
