Hey warseers I'm thinking of starting a blog to track the progress of painting, fluff and tactics of my Marine Chapter. The question I have for you all is this, what do you like to see in 40k blogs?

Battle Reports?
Tactics?
Modelling?
Codex Reviews?

etc
etc.

What are your favourite aspects of blogs and websites that are based on wargaming?

Thanks for any help!

Maynard

Anything 40K related will do. WS does have a blog facility (http://warseer.com/forums/blog.php) if you wish to use it.

I like to see an army develop from the planning stage, with battle reports and then changes to the list as the player develops the list to suit him.

Cheers guys thats pretty cool, I was thinking of bringing the army to the reader right from the very start of their crusade, meeting the inquisiton, *cough*falling to chaos, possibly meeting my 13th company along the way.

any other suggestions?

My blog will eventually get to that point. I'm starting the game from scratch, so it may take a couple of months to get to that point.

For... for a minute there... I was thinking Secret Diaries of the Lord of the Rings... except in 40k...

No no, just ignore me. Sure go ahead if you like.

blogs are usually pretty generic on a specific subject. Just write about whatever your doing in 40k and interesting things you find. Of course produce articles on something you have an opinion on.. but blogs are 'for fun'.
