Reminds me of the Black Knight from 'Monty Pythons and the Holy Grail.'

"Victory is Mine, I've blown off your Titan CCW."
"What? no, thats just a structure point!"
"Nonsense, his arm is bloody off!"

Looks a little big but I wouldn't worry about it.

I looks awesome! I love it when people scratch-build stuff, especially stuff that would normally cost about $560 from Forge World. I'm sure when you plunk it down on the table no one will whip out a tape measure and rule it illegal.

For What a knight classicaly is? Yea, it's a little to big. Knights would have a little more mass than a russ, and would be walking tank (think of if you took two dreadnought kits and built them together as a single tall model).

It's a cool looking model though. Like a baby imperator ;).

May want to think about treating it more like an even lighter scout titan.

It is looking more warhoud size than knight.

Knight would stand about 60% percent of a warhound, so as someone siad, 2.. 2.5 dreads stacked

if someone complains about the size say its all realative. :D

if someon says its to tall to be a knight say ok its a warhound...make them wish they kept their mouth shut

Could you treat it as a Knight Baron? Those are supposed to be bigger and fancier than a standard Knight <o.@> I know the weapons might be a little off for that; but still.

It looks cool regardless of if its a bit oversized.

Impressive. As others have said, its a little big but shouldn't make much difference. What did you build it from?

Insult: Your camera is poo and your didn't give us enough pics.

your modelling skills I can't fault, It's quite nice. It's a little big for a knight but acceptable I think.

Its made from a lot of different stuff plastic card, insulation styro and various tubes are the main ingredients though ... oh yeah and some custom mold greens.

Recently I did a similar project, my Knight landed at 6.5" in hight. Imperial Knights are about 6 to 8 inches tall, warhounds land at 11 to 13 inches tall. (My understanding)

So he is actualy a little too big, infact if anything he should have a larger stat line. Perhaps you should count him as a warden or as a baron class. Making him into a warhound equivilient titan would be more than aceptable. There are thousands of forge worlds and hundreds of variants on titans, so it comes down to what your imagination and the VDR allow you to do.

Great Job!

It stands 9 inches tall excluding the exhaust stacks so not too big, grimbad on da gargants ownerz klub suggested calling it a Baron as well.

The only reason it has a laser destructor is because of many contradictions in all the info in my research, so I went with a GW established titan weapon set. I believe it is supposed to have a titan battle cannon but I found no consistency on this or even a reference as to how powerful it is.

If you check out BoLS, they recently did a ton of datasheets for Apocalypse including one for the Knight:

Looks great!

Maybe it is bigger than a knight is supposed to be, but bonus of the psychological factor of displaying such big model, as I see it, is reward of the time spent making it, instead of being lazy and rich to wait for Forge world to make a model.

I've decided how to fix this as many people agree that it is a little too big. It is now upgraded to a baron class knight.

I'm already working on a couple of truer scale knights
which with this model will make up a small knight legion, hows that for a legendary formation.

A titan legendary formation.... ha no one is ever gonna play me.

My regular knights will not have void or power shields unless within 12' of the baron as a special rule.

i think it's very big.
he must make between 15 and 18 cm (maximum 20).
I had the great luck to discuss with Will Hayes the creator of the 40k reaver and the warhound of Forgeworld and many other vehicle 40k and epic, and this is the size that it advice for a knight.

you can maybe use for titan like a little reaver ? ;)
