Hi Everyone!

In the description it states: " ...roll 2d6 once you have worked out where the shell lands. Any troops within this distance in inches from the centre of the template move at half rate in their next turn and may not shoot missile weapons. War machines caught in the area may only fire on 4+. "

What is the interpretation for "troops"? only infantry? every unit?

Thanks for you answers!

It means all models. Dunno where you got the infantry idea from.

yes any models withint the distance...

incidentaly... we've ruling that it affects the whole unit even if only part of it is withing range...
as obviously the movement penalty would have to...
but about the "no missile" fire aspect... would half a unit of archers still be able to shoot?

Only models within that range are effected. Since units only move as fast as their slowest member it usually effects the whole unit ... skirmishers could in some cases be less effected though since the slowed members could fall back within the unit while the faster half still moves at full speed.

Same goes for shooting units, only the models actually effected don't shoot.

Dunno where you got the infantry idea from.

Even stranger considering that in the English terminology term "troop" refers to a cavalry formation and "trooper" to a cavalryman.
