I'm thinking of using an Arch Lector and I'm wondering if I cast one of the prayers thats a 'remains in play' prayer can I cast any others that same turn?

Sorry if it's a really obvious question I'm a noob at fantasy

No you cannot cast more than 1 remains in play prayer each turn.
or so I think...
Arch lectors can cast 2 prayers a turn right, with normal warrior priests only getting 1 per turn correct?

That's correct, the confusing bit is that it says they're cast exactly like bound spells so then can I still use bound items if I cast a remains in play spell?

If you attempt to cast another spell you will end any remains in play spell you currently have in play.

Here we go again...

Arch Lector with Doomfire Ring riding on the War Altar.
Classic example.

Here are the points to remember about this setup..
1) AL can only use each prayer ONCE in a magic phase.
So, no repeating prayers. Although, the AL can use 2 "different" prayers!
2) You may only have 1 remains in play spell up and running.
3) All the prayers are casts at Power level 4 by the AL himself.
4) Using any bound spell will negate a RIP prayer.
5) Activating the Altar/Griffon is considered using a bound spell. The use
of the Altar is at Power Level 5. However, this is a big KEY a very big KEY..
If the spell the AL casts from the Altar is not dispelled then the base casting level is used in subsequent turns for dispelling. So for instance if you cast Guardian Light and it is not dispelled when cast, subsequent turns in order to dispel it are at its "base" casting level which, I believe is at 8 or so... Of course this is a RIP... So you have to be careful the order in which you use your bound items, prayers, and Altar in conjunction with one another...
