I have a question, so is a Bolter-Granatwerfer a combi-mortar or a combi-grenade launcher? Thanks.

Combi-mortar would be awesome. A squad of vets with them could hide and shoot indirectly and then charge with powerweapons.

Combi-grenade launchers are useless though. Combi-melta is usually the only combi weapon worth taking.

Im pretty sure you dont get a combi bolter/grenade launcher, marines dont even have grenade launchers

Marines have always had a combi-grenade launcher. One of the Vet mkI models [if purchased from blister] even has one.

Edit: Or did they drop it in 4th edition? I can't even remember, don't have the codex here in my [saturday] course

Wow thanks for all the replies, the confusion came about when I typed Granatwerfer in Google and showed a mortar. Then I thought, "I cannot believe I haven't heard anyone mention this before. If nothing else, throw it in as joke.
