Why not just cut out plasticard in the shape of coffins and cut wood marking with a knife?

For some people, the convenience of not having to scratch at plasticard for hours on end is worth the extra money to just buy them already made :p

mainly because of time, but also i think the ones in the (current) VC book look really cool i was going to use balsa wood instead of card if i had to do it that way

anyone got pics?

Are you talking about the metal coffin lid shields? If so, those date back to 3rd edition days. They are sold in a "bits pack" with eight of them now. I equipped all of my skeletons w/spears with them, back when they were $0.25 each as bits. I love them. The only thing is that thay are too small, maybe children's coffin lids.

Those are the same ones.

As I said, I love them on my skeletons, however, I do not know if they would look right on the new models.
