View Full Version : My Digga mob [pics]

So I got a little OSD this morning, and decided to take some pictures of what I have.

Here's my Nob. He's actually going to be mounted on a bike (with Twin linked Kannons), so I'm going to magnet his arm (done) and torso so that I can just swap out the handle bar arm for his gun, and his legs for standing. Note that his pistol is a six shoota. I forgot to take a pic from the other side, but the drum most of the other side. I love BIG six shootas. I might also give hom an iron gob for his big helmet.

As of Game start, I think he'll just be armed with the Bike and kannons (personaly wargear comes later).

Here's one of my boyz. He's actually the first Digga I converted. Largely an experiment to see if I could get them to hold the handle bars. I'll probably magnet his one hand to the bike. I'll also probab;y extend his Left forearm, because Catachan are puny and disproportionate. I'm also going to make a non-mounted version, but I'm not really sure what he'll have yet.

As of Game start, He'll just have the bike and twin shootas.

Here's my baby. Originally, I was just going to go bike mounted, but I found that I didn't have many models (like, 4). So I threw in a buggy, 2 yoof, and stripped everyone's gear down so I could buy more. Also, I recently switched 40k Armies, after the horrid attack on my people (Blood Angels), and I had 3 Land Speeders left over doing nothing. This is the result.

For now, the buggy has a twin linked shoota. Later, I'll probably give it an 'eavy shoota or something. The driver is a yoof. I could cut some points, and it didn't really matter. The gunner is a boy, for his awesome BS of 3. I'm not going to make a standing version of the driver yet, because he either won't last long enough, or he'll become a boy too quickly.

Game wise, Yoof, Boy, Buug, Twin Shoota.

Not pictured:
Yoof with Six Shoota
Shaman on bike with twin shoota (with magented finding rod. coming soon)
My hedgehog, Michigan
Heads for most models
Arms for driver so he can steer
Nob's bike, complete with twin Kannons and giant bike gob.

looking awesome so far! the bike is really cool as is the buggy (which reminds me of Ramshackle's Toad http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28)

What legs are on the biker?

They have to be horrible and naked. I've heard some talk about Bare Catachan torsos, but that just doesn't sit right with me. Giant Maurader torsos all the way. A note though. My friend tried a Maurader converted Goliath gang in Necromunda, and found that they were far to manly to hold lasguns. The chests are way too large. One hanind weapons works well though.

I spent a bit more time on the mob tonight. The Shaman looks pretty good. Once I have the Nob more done (basically, widened and mounted), I will probably post some more pics. All that's really left after him are the yoofs and the gunner.

I'd be sorely tempted to leave the main chassis of the LS largely unpainted. Looks wonderfully weatherbeaten.
