My question is more than likely simply answered. However I wish to know if the -2 from getting a glance means a -2 to a minimum of 1 or if you roll a 2 or a 1 you do nothing even after rolling to hit and rolling to penetrate and then rolling on the chart?

Previous things would suggest that rolling a 1 or 2 with a glacing hit would count as a 1. I would, however, absolutely love it if there was actually a way for a glacing hit to actually do nothing to the tank.

You and me both. Maybe they could develop a "chipped paint" rule. :D

there was the "lucky shot" rule in 3rd edition were you needed to roll a series of 6's to glance it with normal weapons, but I bet that isn't coming back - otherwise IG would just shoot 216+ flashlight shots and destroy land raiders.

The table has 1 or less as shaken, 6 or more as explodes.

It is possible to get less than one but something still happens.

As the 'lucky shot' rule worked, you couldn't roll any higher on the glancing table than the strength of your weapon, so it had at least that much going for it.

That was only ever agains the 1st version of the Amoured Company, in attempt to balance it out.

In reality it was horrid time consuming rule. That over the years many people thought was a standard rule against all 3rd ed tanks.

Well the rules aren't out yet so not sure what kind of answer you are hoping to get....

I would prefer that a 1 or 2 roll on the glancing hit table do nothing.
