Thats nothing.

Theres an old piece of Artwork of Salamander Space Marines that genuinely has Al Pacino in it!

Well, kind of.

Hey, who cares anyway. I'd never even heard of Ron Pearlman before reading this thread.

I am a huge Ron Pearlman fan and I definitely dig the resemblance.

I have never been to a Games Day before, but I am planning on being at Chicago this year. Do you get the model for free or is it just a model that can only be bought at Games Day?

Heh, if he'd had a red-colored power fist that would have been a nice reference to sneak in :D.

That's the first mini in several years good enough to tempt me to games day.

Nah, it's Dark Angels, and the face is taken from 'Scarface'.

Unfortunately, my only real recollection of Ron Perlman was as Vincent, the lion faced beast from the TV series 'Beauty and the Beast'.

And that doesn't resemble him

Remembers to add Ron Perlman to the list of actors to play space marines in a 40k movie. You know its been a lil while since we had one of those threads, just a matter of time before yet another is posted.

Yet another space marine miniature is VERY important for almost 93% of 40k-players to get pumped up.Who needs an Eldar Exodite, a Demiurg or a "Doomed One" when u can have yet ANOTHER Space Marine? Also take notice of the big hammer! The hammer is very important!

uh yeah...warHAMMER :D (I always thought warhammers should give some sorta bonus:evilgrin:)

granted I do have a SM army but I really get tired of so much SM emphasis.

I think they should have a new model for every race instead of just 1 lol.

As for hammers, they rock i mean who doesnt look cool with a giant thunder/daemon hammer. Also remeber the good old saying 'We are the hammer of the the Emperor'.

I love the model but probably won't use it as Thunder Hammers are so expensive that I usually don't use them.

Mainly because it's over 20 years old and he was in costume :eyebrows: :p
