Sorry If this ones already posted this is like my first thread so i'm kinda like uurr? Any way i've brought a Far Harad Army a couple of weeks back, i'm just seeing if anyone else is doing one aswell and what they think of them.

I like them, I wish the Mahad warriors were plastic though

They add a lot more to the harad now. Especially mahud on camels 2 attacks AND a S4 from the camel hahahahaha

add in some half trolls as well and there awesome. They shouldn't have done the bondage gimp in WD though.....

I love the new Far Harad Mahud stuff. I have 500 points almost finished painting. And if you look at my signature you can see my record. I run all Mahud, nothing else, and it works for me. The only difficult part is when do the impact hits, when you make contact? in the fight phase?

i do the impact hits like a throwing weapon myself thats pretty good going i haven't lost with mine there fantastic the sherr number of attacks pummels everyone they really should have realeased plastics for them though as said i'm bordering on 700 myself but im slightly fanatical about them

I thought that about the impact hits too. I really enjoy playing them, but have to change pace with my Mirkwood every now and then.

I scream shaka, but that's just preference. Most of the time I am laughing as my Mahud are kicking the crap out of Knights of Dol Amroth and Aragorn and such.

I like the book, I was originally going to start Far Harad. But chose to do a Corsair fleet instead, seeing as it was the cheaper option, so far I've played 2 300pt games, throwing weapons are hilarious.

I like playing AGAINST harad - They're good opponents, especially the raiders & Serpent riders, and make for really enjoyable games; there's nowt better than having your Minas Tirith shield wall smashed in a charge, only for your captain to beat them all off next turn.

Corsairs oh my gosh are so sickening throwing weapons on your entire army and thier only coting 8 points a model and dalamyr walking around saying transfixed dead transfixwed dead thier ******* awesome

I like the rules. These guys are rock hard.

But I do have some problems with them too:
1. Really do not like the half-trolls at all
2. The Mahud warriors should have been plastic
3. I really do not like the half-trolls

I have some of the new Harad supplement, Corsairs, I don't really like them thoguh so I'm probarbly going to go back to my Gondor army

the new harad are not very good:

* the halftrolls are far to cheap (22 points)
* the courage for most things is 1
* the whole army is dependent on mahud king
* the blowpipes are useless
* in most cases the defence is low (corsairs - 3)
