I'd be interested to read the stats for these. Is there supposed to be a new Mordor based book then?

Wow, that marshal is really cool. Trolls look like plastics, and very flexible.

The trolls look good, that marshall looks great, I hope the other black numenoreans are as good. Also I notice in the group shot that there is an orc with a drum near the front. Any ideas?

Plastic trolls eh? Looks like i'll be investing in a few for conversion purposes.

I'm more excited about the orc overseer than the trolls to be honest, I like the new face of the orcs, which is closer to the movies than the previous ones.

Aren't most of those orcs the old metal ones?

Most of them, but I can't get over the orc overseer in the 3rd picture. He actually looks like a real orc. I'm tempted to start mordor army with that guy as a commander.

Besides the overseer with whip, there also seem to be three new orcs in the front (of the second pic). The one with the drums, and what could be two new captains. And we could use some of those, seeing as the only two orc captains we have now are identical except for the head. I'm digging them.

Plastic trolls look good too, and I'm glad to see the drummer is unarmoured, like in the films. I was afraid they'd just stick drums to an attack troll.

Not sure about the marshall yet, can't make out a whole lot from that pic. I like how the mounted version isn't swinging a sword over his head.

I expect the Mordor supplement will more than make up for the lukewarm Harad one.

Well, those pictures have just sold several of the current metal trolls.

The Black Marshall looks okay however.

I'm guessing that the Overseer and the drums might give the Orcs a boost in morale, maybe allowing rerolls within a certain radius.

I just got into LOTR and bought 2 mordor trolls and a chieftan. Normally I LOVE plastic kits, but I think I'm liking the metals one better than the ones in the pics.

Hopefully the new guys will look better in person.

I gotta check when this is supposed to be released; I'd really want to do this army for the LOTR GT at Chicago GD.

If it's in White Dwarf, I would it put it at three to four months away. The Black Marshall is nice, however I'm a little concerned that the horse reminds me of the 5th edition plastic Brettonians horses.

The lower half of the words "out in june" is visible in the pic with the Black Marshall. But that's the UK, I assume US is a month later.

Was going to be May, but has been postponed a month because of the WFB 25th anniversary in April.

Well i'm impressed, particularly by that plastic troll kit and the fat 'orc slave master' from the films. The black marshal i'm a bit half and half on but to be fair i dont much like the idea of individualised wraiths. The armour on him though is pretty cool and i hope a similar style is applied to the Black Numenoreans.

The Marshall must be a Black Numenorian special character, this being the 2nd since the Mouth Of Sauron is also a black numenorean.
And jugding from hes look the Black Numenorean riders and troops are gona be Uber cool!

New plastic mordor trolls look very cool and well made, tought I am more excited about the black numenoreans, and since he wasnt In Lome then there is still hope for an Easterling chariot to come out too.

All i know is that. The trolls are plastic.... (multipart kits, supposedly options to make an isengard troll and morder troll)

I hate how it got post poned a month because of the 25th anniversary thing. Looks like a troll army for me :D
