Can a warrior Priest take the Dawn Armour?

I will discuss later...

Yes. What would lead you to believe otherwise?

Hi

Yes.

I know what you are up to: It is given as *full plate armour*. And Priests only have light and heavy armour in their options, not full plate (cf. Empire AB, p.67, 75).

But a character can choose any suit of Magic Armour if he is allowed to wear any suit of Armour, regardless of the actual type (with the usual caveat: As long as the description of the Item allows it).

BRB, p.121

That was the argument i was getting at, though i needed 1 or 2 hours sleep first :)

Having neither the BRB or the Empire book at hand (i own them, im just lazy) im relying on quotes from other threads.

So, are you definite? (I always use dawn armour on priests, for the extra pip to their save, wanna make sure im not cheating.)

Yep, give him the dawn. Its the same as if you wanted to give a Captain the 'helm of the ratslayer', in his profile it says nothing about being allowed to wear helmets, but you can still give it to him.

The only limitation the BRB gives is in reference to magic shields, otherwise as Festus posted if you can wear armour, you can wear any magic armour.
