Both lists seem well rounded to me. I`m not a big fan of the tomb blade, and would probably rather give the vampire in list one the sword of battle, might or the biting blade.
The real question in your lists is wheter the wight king and the corpse cart are worth the difference in points to the vampire. In my opinion the answer is yes. The vampire has 1 power on his own, and without any special magic abilities, you`d have to give him a power die to ensure a spell gets off. The same goes of course with the necromancer. One could argue the corpse cart spell is more efficient as it always gets off. I personally think the wight king is at least as good in combat as the vampire. He can take more damage and the axe of krell is useful against a variety of creatures (ogres, monsters, et.) as well as in challengees.
