While reading Eisenhorn and the Dark Heresy Apocrypha Vehicles, I noticed guncutters; Are there any known pictures or details about Guncutters, other than what those two sources describe?

I have never sen pictures of a Guncutter.

However, taking the descriptions from Dan Abnett's work I would say they are pretty big. Eisenhorns cutter is big enough for individual rooms for each of his party, kitchen and living space, its also an orbital craft capable of space flight. So it must be at least the size of a small passenger jet?

Maybe the size of a c130 but more square?

It's a smallish spacecraft (compared to cruisers and such) and it has guns (as opposed to regular cutters)... What details do you need?

There are no pictures of a gun cutter, as far as I know. At least, no aircraft in GW's images have been identified as gun cutters.

A guy called Schoon did start designing one though. You can find it here
http://www.scholaprogenium.com/strmhawk.html

I've tried designing some myself. Here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v179/CELS83/Anargo%20Sector%20Project/Vehicles/Cutter-Cardinal.png), here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v179/CELS83/Anargo%20Sector%20Project/Vehicles/Cutter-Crescent.png) and here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v179/CELS83/Anargo%20Sector%20Project/Vehicles/cutter.png).

All very unofficial though, since, like I said, we have very little information and no official pictures.

While this is not in any way official, this (http://www.scholaprogenium.com/strmhawk.html) is one possible interpretation... :D

I asked a similar question about a Guncutter a while back. Short answer was to think of a converted Thunderhawk and you'd be close.

Nice pictures. I like the Cardinal class one the best though. =D

I like to think of it as an enlarged Colonial Marine Dropship from Aliens, seems to fit the bill IMO :)

Yeah, the Cardinal Class one is now going to be the image of a Guncutter in my mind. ;) I might have to try to scratchbuild one.

Whilst they're all nice, particularly the cardinal, I imagined them quite a bit sleeker. Having said that, I suppose the doesn't mesh too well with the amount of space they have in them.

I always pictured something more like the Firefly class, but CELS's all look great, again throwing another vote at the Cardinal

Totally sure I've seen a small rendition of Eisenhorn's guncutter in this book > http://www.blacklibrary.com/product.asp?prod=60040181016&type=Book

But it's been a while since I flicked through it and it's not very good so hardly likely to get it.
