Im new to warmaster, really interested in the araby army.

Im guessing there gonna have alot of heavy cavalry style tactics (camels, elephants..), and I have no idea what the genie does, but Im suspecting its something majik.

You are better off asking that question over on the specialist-games forum. As this one sees very little warmaster traffic.

Ryn,

I have a small Araby army:

General
Hero
Wizard
War Elephants
Spearmen x2
Bowmen x2
Guards
Arabyan Knights
Desert Riders

Though, i havn't used them much so far, i have found that they are a decent army and would like to add more, their infantry holds up well and they have a range of useful cavalry. As for War Elephants they have been the centre of my opponents attention in each game, and have been infamously mince-meated by a unit of bog standard dwarf warriors, so they have worked as a distraction but nothing else.

In comparison I usually play, Empire, H. Elf, and Orc & Goblin armies, an apart from the lack of war machines I can see no real disadvantage, only advantages, with its range of cavalry options. Overall, i'd say give them a go, when i get round to it, i'll be adding to them (Fying Carpets & Camel Riders)
