Hi,

Don't know if this was posted before but I couldn't find it with searchy. It's from GW FR. I wish I could get a better pic but the site refuses to load a bigger one.

Also a link.

Don't know what it is, suppose it's just the tyrant again, surrounded by a tutti-frutti of nids.

It's from the French online store. They are doing two versions of the army box one with and another without the codex.

It's the same picture as the other online stores but with the codex photoshopped in on one corner.

On the French online store is a pic of the army deal. In the corner is the codex, which you can see, but not very well.

EDIT: Twice! In one night!

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but the German online store moved most of the 3rd edition 'nid minis to the "classic sortiment", with only Biovores, Gargoyles and spore mines left in the "normal" list of items.

Would that be a Carnifex on the cover of the codex, rather than a Tyrant? I hadn't seen the Carnie until today, but I saw that picture on a poster in GW last week and thought it looked nothing like the Tyrant so I came to the conclusion they had put the artwork of the 'Fex up before showing off the model, which was strange...

Well it's difficult to tell as there are no decent pictures of the codex cover yet.

I'd say it was probably a Tyrant but we'll just have to wait and see.

If some one missed the Tyranid Battalion on French Online Store, here (http://fr.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.fr?do=Individual&code=99120106008&orignav=10) it is. They have also put the new Genestealers (http://fr.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.fr?do=Individual&code=99120106007&orignav=10) on the Online Store too.

Looks like we have our first view of the Carnifex. Looks big and better than the old one, however, it's too much like the Hive Tyrant. I still prefer the 2nd Ed. one.

Check the rumour forum, especially rumour roundup. Big pics of the 'fex were revealed yesterday.

It's one hell of a big bug.

Hmmm... new Nid battleforce methinks.

Not bad value by the looks of it ...

8 Stealers 18
8 Hormagaunts 18
8 Termagaunts
1 Carnifex 20 (old price)
3 Warriors 18

74 quids worth of minis ??? Didn't I seem to recall recently the price for the Fex is liable to be 25. At 80 Euros equates to around 55 UK. If the good ol' U of K gets this at 50 then I for one will be buying one (or more) of these.

Sounds suspiciously good value for money from the same people that bought you a box of Termi s for 20 or by the sprues for only 30! Buy Marneus Calgar and squad for 25 or buy the components for a mere 37!

Thats sweet. But another pic of a carnifex? Have they given up on the special unveiling at France GW now of the cranifex? It seems to be popping up everywhere.

Thank god for portent. And thank god for the portent super special ninja industrial espionage agents who risk life and liimb to bring us the information our hearts desire.

Me, I am getting more and more tempted by the battalion. Especially for spare parts. Converting all my older stuff to fit in with the new codex... Plus any excuse to get a huge carnifex to paint up. :D

Two boxes of the battalion and I should have enough extra bits to keep me happy for at least a few monsters worth of conversions.

Plus all the extras to add to my tyranid hunters....

Just counted my current genestealers... do I really need more than the eighty I have now? Yes, yes I do.

Rule 1029 - YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH GENESTEALERS ! (especially with all the nice new toys they can now take!)

I'm planning a squad of biomorphed 'Stealers as a second wave to my Stealer 'tide' for one incarnation of my rapidly mutating Tyranid army ...

All together now .... MWHAHAHAAAAA !!!!

It seems as if the battalion/battleforce boxes are by far the best value out there. The Ogre one had over 70 worth and this seems similarly good, though the lack of rippers in there's a bit odd.

Notice all the Hormaguants are sporting adrenal glands?

Also the Carnifex has a yet to be seen back carapace...
