Just wondering if Ogres or Knights will be better in this situation. I would love 9 S6 attacks at 4W and T4.

Heck I also want 10 S5 at T4 and 2+ Armour save.

Hmm, anything to improve?

I like both lists, but your first is the better one. Knights are much better than ogres imo, just because they can take punishment with their AS. I think you should split up your maruader horsemen into units of 5 and give them musicians, that way they'll be a heck of a lot more manueverable plus you'll be able to pick out targets and maximize their attacks. Drop one unit of them for some warhounds too, maybe 3-4 units of 5 each, they'll make great screens for your knights.

I do also recon the first list is better whoever i go against the Mok charot and their number. do not give them mok as it makes them very fagile and easier killed if people lurk them through forest. i think 3 will be enough and that also leaves u point for ogres about 4 or 5.

MoK makes the chariots VERY hard. TBH, I can keep away from forests easily.

Do you really need all those chariots, from the sounds of it they are going to become very limited anyways (rumours suggest they will be special along with knights).

Just be warned that chaos are getting a revamp, first with a new 'filler in' list in WD and then a new army book and rerelease with new minis. It looks pretty much to be a certainty that chaos chariots will be moved to special.

Furies too, are suspect to elimination from the hordes list. I'd have Ironguts over ogres and I certaintly wouldn't have that number of chariots.

If people don't bait you chariots, they'll bait you knights for sure. Mind you, I'm not a fan of all cavalry based chaos armies anyway so hey.

EDIT: How can you fit 8 chariots in special? There not 2 for 1 from recollection, and they certaintly won't be in the new book. It's a tradition GW are doing there best to get rid of to reduce the number of cavalry and chariot based armies out there. If your going for a MArauder theme, heck, why not have some marauders?

Then I'd have to have lose 2 chariots and more marauder horsemen!
