hi,
last november is started building my baneblade, but as no new unique ideas came up oany more i decided to freeze the project until there'd be some, again.
and last week -finaly- i had one. i decided to convert the baneblade into a macharius equiped with a vmb in the turret a twin-linked machinegun and 2 heavy bolters.
addittionaly i wanted to integrate some kind of "funniest place to be when the magic happens" .... :)
-
but instead of writing and writing ... now i'll show you the pics of the current state. of course ther's still much detail missing, but i think you'll get the idea ...
.
so what do you think about it ?

as always, its beautifull.:)

gonna loan that idea of the landspeederthrusters for my own vulcanbaneblade and macharius tanks. i already wanted to build them, but was still looking for a suitable frame.

besides i would not call it macharius tank, its a baneblade, with a vulcan mega bolter.
you have the power and the gift of fantasy, forgeworld appearantly not.
well their loss then.

but please call it a baneblade, it is what it is.
all those baneblade sized macharius tanks is driving me nuts.:D

a macharius tank is a compensation of the big brother.
and the malcador is a sorry excuse for a tank.

Nice painting. I like the large blocks of color yet the dividing panel lines, very clean application of paint.
Looking forward to weathering.

yeah !!!
meanwhile, after all in all 4h 45min of painting, i finished the first 4 steps ...
- priming
- drybrushing (boltgun, some of it with brown around the tracks)
- blue parts
- highligting of blue parts (1 layer)
.
=> tomorrow i'll start with the second color.

Very nice tank, pictures saved for inspiration, I would not like to be in that observation position when the VMB's lit up, at least you wouldnt get cold . . .
