Not sure if this has been asked before (did a quick search...honestly), but what's the base size of a hellsteed?

Normal cavalry base? 40*40 monster base?

Seeing that it's a 1 wound mount I'd say it's the normal cav base, but maybe I'm wrong here (after all deamons just got 1 wound cavalry models using 40*40 bases)?

Thanks for the input. :)

A Pegasus is on a 40mm base now. I'd say the 40 is slightly better just because it will give your model a little more stability (my old Morathi model used to keep tipping over onto it's wings).

a 40x40 would be good for ranking up in a skelie unit aswell!

depends on what GW's current ruleing on flyting this is unfortunatly, as there is the wonderfull grey area known as flying cavalry...

Well you certainly can't put a Hellsteed Vamp into a Skeleton unit.

Normal cavalry base for a Hellsteed. A good 3 or 4 other threads stating this easily found with the search function ;)

No such thing in Warhammer since 5th edition...

Vaguely related: I can't wait to see if players will fit their Palanquin of Nurgle onto a cavalry base. It is after all a 1 W mount these days.

Not going to see that, the daemon book says... 'even though they are not on 25 by 50 bases they are cav'.

20mm bases it is, then.

OOps...

It seems I was half sleep as well.

Yes Pegasus are 40x40... No excuse for my oversight since I have four on such bases.

Possibly... Pegasi are Flying Cav and are not in 50x25 bases.
