Hi

just read the FAQ on dragon armour which says that a character wearing dragon armour is imune to flaming attacks, including the medium of delivery due to the magical nature of the armour.

does this mean that all magical items, eg amulet of fire, that give immunity to flaming attacks, also give immunity to the medium that carrys the flaming attack. ie Skulls from the Screaming Skull Catapult?

as the amulet of fire also gives magical resistance, which the rules say spreads to the unit that the character joins, does this mean that the unit is also protected against flaming attacks?

only the magic resistance is transfered to the unit,

the amulet protects the wearer against anything that is defined as a flaming attack under its special rules...

The Amulet means that the wearer "may not be harmed by Flaming Attacks". Thus, any attack that counts as a Flaming attack for any reason (e.g. Cannon from Rune of Fire Cannon, attacks from Hellfire Sword, etc) may not harm the wearer, as per the Dragon Armour FAQ.

Note that the Amulet does not have any effect on Breath attacks unless they are also Flaming attacks, nor does it grant this immunity to its mount.

lol thats would be the sickest 25pts ever spent if you could transfer it onto the unit, mate plays tomb kings. so thats a fat ass unit no going anywhere when they get the direct hit in the middle of your unit.

:( if only it was true
