View Full Version : Interested in =][=, question.

Some friends and I have decided we'd like a change from 40k, and seeing that the =][= book is free, thought we'd give it a try.
Is it easily scaleable to 40k figures?
Is it relatively simple to pick up, conscidering that we're all quite versed in DnD, and =][= seems quite similar?
And, lastly, is it fun?

hi there welcome to the shadowy world of us inquisitors.

1) yes it is, it's commonly referred to as inq28 as in 28mm just say a yard s 1cm

2) yes and no, the basic rules are simple and quite well written but the advanced rules can get pretty complicated and there could be alot of bookkeeping involved.
(but as i play DnD too i can say not as much as with DnD)

3) yes it's quite fun, sometimes hilarious even.

also i recommend you read some of Farseermatt's campaign logs they are a great read and also give you a good impression of how the game plays.
(in my opinion atleast.)

just say a yard s 1cm

Thanks for the help, would 1 yard = 1 inch work, for a smoother translation from 40k, or would it be too 'big', for want of a better word?

A Yard to an Inch is generally held to be 'correct' for 54mm figs, so I think you'd probably be better sticking to the accepted 1yard-1cm measurement.
