Plan: Deploy the horrors in the centre and have them sit back with the heralds in them (4+ ward) and fire away with magic. Screamers start behind terrain and keep flying from behind one piece of terrain to behind another (keeping out of LOS) and inflicting a silly number of S5 hits against the entire enemy army.

I presume you mean each unit of screamers is 5 strong, not 10...otherwise your 300points over.
That and the maximum unit size is 6 so units of 10 are out.

The scribes arent really needed as your opponent wont be casting many spells anyway.
Not really screamer based when your only including 10 of them is it?

Heralds on discs cannot join units.
Nothing on a flying mount can.

I might just let them get some spells through if i know it isnt going to hurt me, just to get the extra power dice

Hm, it could work. Although I find it difficult to manouver screamers when they are in such big units. The best is to keep em small, 3-4 should be enough. Of course you won't get as many screamers into your list, but at least the once you have will do their job. Also, screamers aren't very powerful why you might find they die pretty easily... I think you should put some more different units inthere and you'll have a really fun army, and not as onesided as it is now.

manuvering more then 3 screemers in a unit is hard because of their bases ...

@ Marethar - OP probably only plays theoryhammer - he posts lods of lists from VC and now deamons that would involve heaving great deal of situational models - like 24 screemers here or bucketloads of zombis in the other

In tournament this would be pretty nice - i would not however use more then 10 horrors - what is the reason you put in 16 ?

I agree that the screamers are probably too large, 3-6 would probably be best but see what works for you. I would also either drop the units of horrors to 10 and add some flamers, or bulk up one to be a level 3/4 mage to get bolt of change.

List has been edited a bit. Put BSB and banner of sundering in. Removed fly from the heralds, and got another unti of horrors, and got some daemonic robes for the general to give him decent protection when combined with his 4+ ward.

List still relies heavily upon screamers and being able to get them into position to fly over the enemy army. It might take a turn or two of manourvering, but with 20" move, it should be hard to stop (as long as i keep the screamers out of line of sight). Also, theywont be as hard to manouvre in big units as some people are saying, as the screamers are flying units, so they act as skirmishers

I think it would be fun to see if you got a unit of Screamers out on either flank of the opposing army, and just rolling through it all! I'd say less Screamers, more Flamers ;)

Screamers are +1 S compared to flamers, dont need to roll to hit, and can pass over multiple units, and they can zig-zag as well.

They are more resilient and smaller, thereby more manouvreable than a block of 15-20 Archers.
