I recently played a TK player who claimed that Tomb Scorpions had 360 line of sight. While I doubt he would intentionally lie to me, this seems kinda iffy to me, because I always thought only skirmishers and single characters have that. Obviously, they're not skirmisher and I would assume that they don't count as characters, so that means they'd move like monsters would.. right? Or do they have something special I don't know about?

They are monsters, and have a restricted line of sight. It's possible that he was mixing the scorpion's standard LoS with the fact that they can be pointed in the direction he chooses when they use the ICFB rule (for the purposes of charging in that turn, it could be said that they have 360 degree LoS.)

That's the only time they do, however.

TK Light Chariots are Fast Cavalry and therefore have a 360 Degree LOS during their Shooting Phase.

Does a single model have 360 LOS?

Nope. Chariots haven't been war machines since fifth edition, and unless I'm mistaken, they didn't have 360 back then either.

Normally, single models have 360 line of sight only if they are man-sized models on foot (ie, Unit strength 1). Anything else has 90 line of sight unless otherwise noted.

I wish my Varghulf had 360 line of sight, too. We don't always get what we wish for, sadly...

My scouts are going to be extremely upset about this. I may have to have a word with the person who explained this to me.:wtf:

Edited - no, I'll wait until he sets up his army, and then deploy. This could be priceless.

Yes, so do single (US1) models on foot).
