Ok, so, with the Get You By list, people are in an uproar, and I do see why. However, to me, it is still a fully useable list and I kind of like it to be honest. The weapons appear, to me, to be priced adequatly and the units and marks are improvements rather than complete destructions of the list.

So, I will hereby present a progressive version of the Get You By list, and, it also happens that this will probably present the perfect reason for me to go over and revise my Chaos models (something I've been planning to do for a long time).

So, the primary plan will be as follows:



Border Patrol: 500 points



Exalted Champion of Chaos Undivided
- Additional Handweapon... 100 points


20 Marauders
- Lightarmour, Shields, Full Command... 170 points

6 Warhounds of Chaos
- ... 36 points

6 Warhounds of Chaos
- ... 36 points


4 Chosen Knights of Chaos
- ... 152 points

494 points



For normal WHFB games at 750:


Exalted Champion of Chaos
- Chaos Steed, Shield... 120 points

25 Marauders
- Lightarmour, Shields, Full Command... 205 points

10 Marauders
- Flails... 70 points

6 Warhounds
- ... 36 points

6 Warhounds
- ... 36 points

5 Marauder Horsemen
- Musician, Flails... 81 points

5 Chosen Knights of Chaos
- ... 190 points


For 1k games:

Exalted Champion of Chaos
- Chaos Steed, Shield... 120 points

Sorceror of Chaos
- Level 2, Mark of Tzeentch... 125 points

25 Marauders
- Lightarmour, Shields, Full Command... 205 points

10 Warriors of Chaos
- Additional Handweapons, Shields... 160 points

And there are now another 47 points which can be used for several things:

Marks (particularly Mark of Khorne on either Warriors or Knights)

Magic Items for either hero, and/ or a steed for the Sorceror

Dropping of Warhounds for 2 Spawns in their stead. Alternatively, dropping of Warhounds for a Chariot, one warhound unit gone allows for a second unit of Marauder Horsemen.

This is where true costumisation will start. Now, you are all welcome to question and discuss the progression of these lists, also, feel free to ask questions as to why I've chosen to go with various decisions in here as well. Now, I'll see if I can start revision work on the Marauder models I've got stowed away somewhere... they are in truth... dire... need to do SOMETHING with them... and I think I might know what ;)
