I hate to be a smart ass here (supposedly, no one likes them), but none of those are technically a 'thought for the day' (tm). That would be, for example...

"If a job's worth doing, it's worth dying for!"

:D :(

"Innocence proves nothing"

"An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded"

"That was then, this is now"

it happens on dawn of war every time something goes wrong

like when it chucked me off online because there was a big bug and the servers were down i went back on to dawn of war and in the corner it said "that was then, this is now" and it worked again when i went on.

this has happened 3 times now (though its only been the server down twice)

"Why can't i have another hour!!!"

anyway isn't this in the wrong forum shouldn't it be in the random musings?

Well, I was thinking the "Thought of the Day" as they appear in the 40k codices and rulebooks. Seems people misunderstand my original thought...

Walk softly and carry a big gun

This is the best one especially if you csn do the voice right. Just keep saying to your friends and see how long it takes for their patience to break down.
