I saw an add for 40k rpging and was hoping there may be some sort of conversion rules or at the least an expansion of the campaign rules laid out in past editions?

The 40k RPG is called Dark Heresy and is completely unconnected to Warhammer 40k (except being set in the same universe). As far as I know it is unavailable at the moment. 40k RPG is a real PNP RPG, more along the lines of D&D than Inquisitor or 40k.

I am pretty sure you can get the RPG from Fantasy Flight Games.

There currently is a shortage of core rulebooks of Dark Heresy, until the transition from Black Industry to FFG is completed. Until then, you can get the book "used" as a "lowprice item" for about 100 pounds:rolleyes: (or 100-200 $ in USA). So better wait a bit.
Still, awsome RPG game and setting, playing it currently.
