Hey guys just wondering what your favourite song or band you like to listen to while you play warhammer, do any songs inspire you?
My favourites are Metallica, the new 3 Doors Down song its not my time, and any old rock music like zz top, life is a highway, counting crows, and heaps more but i cant be bothered listing them all. What are yours?

Ward.

The store I play at plays older stuff like Osbourne and acdc.

At home while painting I prefer stuff like stick to your guns, prom queen and carapatian (not carapatian forest).

Must be an empire player.

One player loops LotR OST. First time round, it's alright. Then it begins to annoy me.

I usually play some dubstep or breakcore. Skream, Caspa & Rusko for dubstep, Venetian Snares, Bong-Ra for Breakcore.

I also like playing some good Drumfunk mixes. And when I feel like it, which isn't terribly often, I put on some tool, Nine Inch Nails or maybe even Ministry.

Haha,

Also- nothing like playing Imperial March when you march forward over 200 empire infantry in formation, cannons blazing.

I generally don't play to music, but I always try to find some good music for games.

Given: LotR soundtracks. They're not that energetic but they give of good wargaming vibes.

Blind Guardian: Fantasy power metal. Nightfall in Middle Earth is an epic album (Silmarillion theme)

And come on you guys I just realised this and it should be easy: IRON MAIDEN.

My gaming music is anything that you can either turn up so loud you can barely talk to ur opponent without screaming, or something you can just listen the hole way through the album with.

Mostly it's De La Soul, Gnals Barkly, Red Hot Chilly Peppers and Avenged Sevenfold

Epic metal, like Rhapsody, Blind Guardian or stuff... of otherwise, soundtracks like LOTR, and so on... music that fits the theme of the game: fantasy-like and heroic

I'm also gonna add Buddha Bar to my list, i played a game yesterday listening to it, it was almost as if the two armies were dancing around happily rather than killing each other ^_^

Ok, whilst painting I listen to many many things.

For example; Right now I have paint brush in mouth, after painting a tree trunk (!) and I'm listening to Kamelot's album 'The Black Halo'

I did right now. At first I wasn't too impressed... but in the end, I have to agree, that it's a great song for battling, especially the middle-part rocks!

Personally I like a bit of trippy metal for painting, such as Pelican or Red Sparrows. I'm too busy taking during a game for music really.....usually saying "what was that rule again?... :D

Well regardless of whether they're good for WH, they are among the greatest bands of all freaking time.

Zeppelin has only played together a few times since John Bonham died in 1980. I think the for the most recent reunion concert they did, they had John Bonham's son play drums.

Don't know about SRV or Bad Company...

Almost any song from the Princess Mononoke Soundtrack, specifically The Demon God -> http://youtube.com/watch?v=hRhERoZw7H0

It's too perfect for Beasts of Chaos.

Death metal. 'Nuff said.
Word. Especailly melodic, like Children of Bodom and In Flames. Bellowing and keyboards make everything sound more like fantasy.
A little black metal doesn't hurt as well. Dimmi Borgir really puts you in the mood with organs.

Granted I usually don't play with music. I play at a store, and it's constantly ( ALL the time for at least a year ) the LoTR soundtrack.

I'm thinking: Eye of the Tiger would be cool if there's an epic challenge just been issued e.g. army generals fighting.

Loud Black Metal is just too perfect for me; Dimmu Borgir, Marduk, Devian, Gorefest, Satyricon and some old school metal like Danzig.
