Has anyone fielded a unit of skinks maxed out to 20? I was discussing this with my O&G buddy and we figure that if it's effective at all it's with blowguns. I was thinking of using it a block, a very large block with lots of shots definatley deployed close to the general.

How effective does this sound?

Just curious more than anything, it isn't really my style or that of the army.

I honestly prefer 2 units of 10. Simply because... you can do the same with the 20. Then add in 2 skink champions... or braves whatever even though its useless regardless. Your just not confined with the mass screen of skinks imo. Unless you want it as one huge LOS blocker

I'll never add skink champions. It's like making an IG sergeant a veteran sergeant, it's waste of points.

20 is stupid... and blowpipes even worse. They'd have to be stationary to work, and only an idiot would move that close. On the otherhand. Two units of ten, one behind & the other infront, harass and flee, like hyenahs hunting a lion.

I go javalins ALWAYS. 1 unit of blowpipes max as scouts, everything els javs.
