This is mainly made as a starter Vampire Counts army using the Border Patrol rules. Made out of only a battalion box and a vampire.

Vampire 150 pts
- Dark Acolyte
- Lord of the Dead
- Biting Blade
- Black Periapt

19x Skeletons 189 pts
- Musician
- Standard Bearer
- Banner of the Dead Legion

20x Zombies 80 pts

Corpse Cart 75 pts

494 pts

The vampire goes with the skeletons and acts as a main fighting unit, the zombies are there to lure out a charge or hopefully charge someone themselves. The corpse cart buffs both units.

Watcha think?

If I was playing with just the models you have listed, my list would look like:

Vampire 150 pts
- Dark Acolyte
- Lord of the Dead
- Biting Blade
- Black Periapt

16x Skeletons 165 pts
- Musician
- Standard Bearer
- Banner of the Dead Legion

20x Zombies 80 pts

Corpse Cart w/ +1 wound per raise (lodestones?) 100 pts

495 pts

The reason I would do my list this way is I would want to capitalize on the vampire’s ability to summon more skeletons and pump-up the zombies. Unless you are playing someone who has designed their warband to shutdown your magic phase, you should get the three skeletons back in the first turn.

Shazam…

If it's Border Patrol aren't characters restricted to 125 points?

Looking at the copy of the warband rules that I have, it says a 150 points maximum.

I got almost the same list! :-)

But didn't you both miscalculate the powers and magic items? In my calculations it adds up to 165 points in total ..

But im looking fo suggestions to grow too 1000 pts. Any ideas? I ask it here because us three seem to think alike ..

grtz and succes

Its 150 in warbands not border patrol.
